how it started
It began in 2018, when the internet coined the meme Big Chungus...
Since then, I have been inspired to be bold and make big decisions and designs. My product philosophy is encapsulated by the chunkiness and absurdity of Big Chungus: great products are made with the audacity to be different, memorable, and still human-centered.

about me
On a more serious note...
Hi! I'm Yifei, and I'm studying Computer Science @ Vanderbilt University. I was born and raised in Scotland, but now live in Sugar Land, TX.
I'm a competitive table tennis player with 13 years of experience. Learning about the different properties of rubbers and blades and how they influenced a player's style was my introduction to product: learning to think about user needs, tradeoffs, and edge cases.
I've explored what “building products” means in the nonprofit, startup, and corporate worlds, each with its own pace and philosophy. From designing tools that empower communities to shaping products that scale to thousands, I've learned that meaningful work always starts with understanding people.
I also like to write, read, vlog, and watch films. Check out some of my interests below, as well as my experience and involvement!
